Summary: We spent four days in this cute hideaway in between Cagliari and Villasimius. Alessandra was very easy to communicate with and kept in touch throughout our stay. She and her husband went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. We were welcomed with such wonderful enthusiasm as they showed us around. Their home is wonderfully decorated with a beach theme, and had everything a traveller needs, even soap and tooth brushes (new ones) when forgotten. 😁 The house was immaculately cleaned and has everything needed for a family stay. The garden is lovely and spacious with lots of seating areas. It wasn’t very warm in the evenings but I can imagine how lovely it would be to sit outside on a summer, balmy evening, with a glass of Cannonau. There is a lovely supermarket in the nearby village of Torre delle Stelle for all the basics but also the most wonderful fresh cut meats and pastas (we got Tortellini). It was divine! And then the beach!! Our kids loved the beach which is really a two minute walk, and we loved starting up the day with a coffee in the garden. We recommend visiting Cagliari (day trip) and the southeast coast, especially taking the SS125 north, a scenic route when you’re in for a ride! Awesome scenery just from your car window. There are so many cute beaches to explore too. Too much to see and too little time. We loved it, though. Alessandra and Michele, keep up the good hosting of your wonderfully little retreat! Arrivederci! 😁
