Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: location was perfect, and our first experience of Italian beaches. We are Australian so the benchmark is high. The beach was nice but not up to our standards at home.

Negative: I am interested in the developing tendency for "full" apartments to provide a "full kitchen" but don't actually expect anyone to cook there. This was no different here. There is an oven, but no oven safe dishes, and no tin opener, although the latter was supplied when we asked for one, but it took a long time. The kitchen is not set up for long stays and self catering. Perhaps they rarely have international guests, but if staying a few days, I would normally expect at least one diswasher tablet per day, but this was not the case. There was also a cat roaming free. This is an unusual sight at home in Australia, but when the cat defaecated on the steps to the beach in front of our eyes we were astonished.
