Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house is spacious, comfortable and easy to use. It gives us a real feeling of living in Capri like a local. The terrace is great with an amazing view and even had a hammock. Two spacious bedrooms with double beds and AC, two bathrooms, a spacious living room with AC and a full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen has a glass ceiling that brings in cosy natural light. I believe it is a great way to feel like a local living in Capri. The house was around 10 minutes from Marina Grande (Capri Port) and around 15 minutes from Capri City Centre. It's worth it if you have good health and mobility and not a lot of luggage. There are two markets close by, although both with stairs on the way there. The hostess was very attentive, replied quickly via WhatsApp and went there when we had an issue to be checked.

Negative: It was hard to find and reach the location. Our family members had to pick us up half way. Not even on Google Maps it is possible to make a route there. From the port you have 3 flights of stairs going up and 1 going down to reach the house. It was quite exhausting in 5 days but I believe most of the places in Capri will be like this unless you stay in a few 5-star hotels that you can reach by taxi. There were some aspects they can improve around electrical capacity, a leaking shower, and a lack of wine glasses (we're in Italy!). The paper sheet with house rules could be more complete including more information and tips and tricks about the house and even some local tips can be nice.
